Out of Luck

Privacy

Effective 8 October 2026

The short version

Out of Luck has no accounts, no ads, no analytics, no crash reporting and no in-app purchases. The game sends nothing to any server. We do not collect your data, because the game never gives us any.

What stays on your phone

The game saves your progress and settings on your device, and only there. We cannot see them. To erase them, clear the game's data in your phone's settings or uninstall the game.

Local co-op

Co-op runs over your own Wi-Fi or your own phone hotspot. No internet connection is needed, and nothing goes through a server of ours.

Android permissions

The Android version asks for these permissions. None of them gives the game access to your contacts, photos, camera, microphone or location.

PermissionWhy
INTERNETAndroid requires it for any network connection, including phones talking to each other on the same Wi-Fi. The game uses it for local co-op only.
ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE
ACCESS_WIFI_STATE
To find out whether you are on a Wi-Fi or hotspot network, for local co-op discovery.
CHANGE_WIFI_MULTICAST_STATETo let the game look for hosts on your local network, for local co-op discovery.
VIBRATEHaptics: vibration feedback during play.

Children

Out of Luck is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect anything from anyone, children included.

This website

This website uses no cookies and no trackers. Its fonts are hosted on the site itself, so your browser does not contact a font service. The site is served by Cloudflare Pages, and like any web host it can see the technical details of the request your browser makes to load a page, such as your IP address. We add nothing on top of that.

Changes

If any of this ever changes, we will update this policy and change the date at the top. The effective date now is 8 October 2026.
